Terms of service

What Juno is

Juno is a platform that helps customers find independent people who offer services, like coaches, tutors and cooks, and helps them get in touch. Providers are not Juno's employees or agents. Any arrangement for services is between the customer and the provider. Juno isn't a party to it and doesn't handle payments between you.

Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.
• Give accurate information and keep it up to date. One person per account.
• Keep your password safe. You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at hello@junosomeone.com if you think someone else has used it.

For customers

• Describe what you need honestly and only contact providers about genuine requests.
• Use your own judgment when choosing a provider. Check qualifications, references and details that matter to you before agreeing to anything.
• If a service involves children or other vulnerable people, you are responsible for appropriate supervision and checks.

For providers

• You offer services independently and are responsible for how you provide them, including any licenses, insurance, permits and taxes required where you work.
• Your profile, rates, availability and certificates must be accurate and your own. Don't upload documents that aren't genuine.
• Juno reviews provider applications and may approve, reject or suspend a profile at its discretion, for example if information appears inaccurate or these terms are broken.
• Respond to requests professionally and honor what you agree with customers.

Verification, ratings and matching

A “verified” badge means Juno has reviewed a certificate or document the provider supplied. It is not a background check, license check or guarantee of quality or safety. Ratings and reviews come from customers. Match suggestions and explanations are generated automatically, partly by AI, and may be incomplete or wrong. They're a starting point, not a recommendation or endorsement.

Acceptable use

Don't use Juno to:

• harass, threaten, discriminate against or deceive anyone;
• offer or request illegal, dangerous or adult services;
• post false, misleading or fake reviews, requests or profiles;
• send spam or advertising, or collect other users' information;
• copy or scrape Juno, or interfere with, overload or try to break its security.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post on Juno (profiles, photos, requests, messages and reviews). You give Juno permission to host, display and use it to run and improve the service, including showing provider profiles and reviews publicly. Reviews must reflect a genuine experience. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

Fees

Juno is currently free to use. If we introduce fees, we'll tell you in advance and you can choose whether to continue.

Ending your use

You can stop using Juno and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as disclaimers and limits of liability) survive after your account closes.

Disclaimers

Juno is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises about providers, their services, or that Juno will always be available or error-free. We aren't responsible for what users do, say or provide, on or off Juno.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Juno won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for anything arising from services arranged between customers and providers. Our total liability for any claim relating to Juno is limited to US$100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Indemnity

If you break these terms or the law, or a service you provide or receive through Juno leads to a claim, you agree to cover Juno's reasonable costs and losses from claims brought by others.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before bringing a claim, please contact us at hello@junosomeone.com so we can try to resolve it informally. Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer laws of the place where you live.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll update the date above and tell you by email or on Juno before they take effect. Continuing to use Juno after that means you accept them. How we handle your information is described in our privacy policy. Questions: hello@junosomeone.com.
