Privacy policy

Last updated September 29, 2026

Juno helps you find the right person for what you need. This policy explains what information Juno Technologies, Inc. ("Juno", "we") collects when you use junosomeone.com, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

  • Account details: your name, email address and password (or, if you sign in with Google, your name, email and profile photo from Google). Phone number if you add one.
  • Requests: what you type when you ask Juno for someone, your answers to follow-up questions, and the details Juno understands from them (for example the service, schedule, budget and city).
  • Location: your city, an area you search for (what you type is sent to Mapbox to find matching places), and your device location only if you tap “Use my current location”. We round locations to about 1 km before storing them and never show your exact location to anyone.
  • Provider profiles: if you offer services, your headline, bio, photo, skills, services and rates, experience, languages, availability and service area, and any certificates you upload.
  • Messages, reviews and favorites you create on Juno.

Information collected automatically

  • Sign-in cookies that keep you logged in.
  • Usage information such as pages viewed and actions like “search submitted” or “provider contacted”, linked to a random account ID, never to your name or email. We don't record your screen or what you type into analytics.
  • Error reports when something breaks, containing technical details only (not your requests, messages or account details).

How we use it

  • To understand your request and match you with suitable providers, and to explain why each one fits.
  • To let you contact providers, message them and leave reviews.
  • To review provider applications and certificates before profiles appear in search.
  • To send you service emails, such as account confirmation, new requests and new messages.
  • To see which services people ask for that Juno can't yet match, in aggregate, so we can recruit the right providers.
  • To keep Juno safe, prevent abuse, fix problems and meet legal obligations.

Artificial intelligence

Juno uses OpenAI to read your request, ask follow-up questions and write short match explanations. Your request text and the relevant provider profile details are sent to OpenAI for this. Under OpenAI's API terms, this data is not used to train their models by default. AI output can be imperfect, so please check details with the provider directly.

Who can see your information

  • Providers you contact see your first name and the request you sent them. They don't see your email, phone or exact location.
  • The public can see approved provider profiles: first name, photo, headline, bio, skills, services and rates, city, availability, verified certificates and reviews. Reviews show the reviewer's first name.
  • Service providers that run Juno for us, only as needed: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting), OpenAI (AI), Mapbox (address search), Resend (email), Google (sign-in and email), PostHog (analytics) and Sentry (error reports).
  • Legal reasons: if required by law, or to protect people's safety or our rights.
  • Business changes: if Juno is merged or sold, your information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.

Where it's stored and how long we keep it

Your data is stored with Supabase and Vercel in Singapore. Some service providers process data in the United States or elsewhere. We keep your information while your account is open. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information unless we must keep it for legal reasons. We may keep request details without anything that identifies you, to understand demand.

Your choices and rights

  • Update your name, phone, city and photo anytime in your profile.
  • Close a request, or ask us for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account by emailing hello@junosomeone.com.
  • Depending on where you live (for example California or other US states, or the Philippines under the Data Privacy Act of 2012), you may have additional rights. We will honor requests as required by applicable law and won't treat you differently for making one.

Children

You must be 18 or older to create a Juno account. Parents and guardians may use Juno to find help for their children, for example a tutor or coach. We don't knowingly create accounts for children. If you believe a child has an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Security

We protect your information with access controls that limit each person to their own data, encrypted connections, approximate rather than exact locations, and private storage for certificates (visible only to you and Juno's reviewers). No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Changes and contact

If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll update the date above and tell you by email or on Juno. Questions or requests: hello@junosomeone.com.
